.NET Domain Name Registrations
When the Dot NET universal top-level domain extension was initially launched in 1985, along with the first domain name extensions on the Internet, it was intended to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. As there were no specific rules about the usage of the top-level extension, though, .NET domains were bought and used for diverse purposes and by a huge number of people. This extension represents an ideal alternative to .COM, especially if the desired domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.
Securing a .NET domain name with our company is a piece of cake and takes barely a couple of minutes, given that we work with an ICANN-certified registrar company. You can acquire such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it when the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have an EPP transfer code – security measures set up by the Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS contacts of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you wouldn't like this information to be public at all, you can purchase a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to obtain your real contact information.
The .NET TLD supports internationalized names, so you can select whether you want to concentrate on a certain country or zone using a domain name in the native language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
