.IT Domain Name Registrations

Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific extension is really popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming creative and interesting domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to construct an easy-to-learn domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to return to your website or to share it with coworkers and friends. The domain extension can also be used for a website, which is connected to the information sector in view of the fact that IT is an abbreviation, which is accepted all over the world.

Having in mind that .IT domains are not registered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry organization that administers this domain extension, such a domain can be bought through a third-party company, such as ours. As there are existing 2nd-level Domains that include names of different regions and localities in Italy reserved for local 3rd-level registrations, new names that consist of geographical regions of any kind are not allowed on any level to avoid any future confusion.
